Caleb has more than 10 years of experience in corporate law and commercial real estate. His experience covers a wide range of corporate, real estate, and transactional matters. After law school, Caleb joined DLA Piper, where his practice focused on corporate and securities law.
His current practice focuses on advising startups and more established businesses in California, New York, and other states, regarding: asset purchases, mergers, commercial leases, entity formation; corporate governance; venture capital; and reviewing and drafting all manner of contracts, including service level agreements, master service agreements, subscription agreements, term sheets, licensing agreements, vendor agreements, reseller agreements, referral agreements, and non-disclosure agreements, among others.
Caleb also worked as a property rights attorney for the US Agency for International Development, the environmental think tank World Resources Institute, and the Government of Liberia’s Land Commission, where he was principal drafter of the Republic of Liberia’s first national land policy. Caleb graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he was an editor of the Comparative Labor Law & Policy Journal.
He also holds a Master’s in International Law, magna cum laude, from the Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland. Beyond his legal pursuits, Caleb is an avid traveler with a passion for exploring the world. Having ventured to over 40 countries across six continents, he brings a global perspective to his work.
